2025 Mitsubishi Pajero Redesign and Rumors. The next 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero could be the last Pajero ever produced. This is not official yet, but many reports are predicting the “Final Edition”. On the other hand, some speculations are predicting the next-gen model with a hybrid powertrain. Reportedly, Mitsubishi will release the Final Edition later this year. This version is on its way to Australia, as well as maybe other regions of the world. Nevertheless, 800 units will be sold in Australia.
Whichever trim level you choose, Pajero comes equipped with a turbodiesel engine that produces more than adequate power. Clearly, the hybrid powertrain is still just a rumor, but this is another possibility for the Pajero SUV.
Can Hybrid Powertrain Save the Pajero SUV?
Numerous sources claimed the next-generation 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero would use a hybrid powertrain. Unfortunately, a new generation is not occurring. It is a possibility, but we’ll have to wait for Mitsubishi to reveal more details. On the other hand, a 3.2-liter engine should remain. It is a turbodiesel four-cylinder engine that is available in all trim levels. This engine produces 189 horsepower and a maximum torque of 325 lb-ft. Mitsubishi’s five-speed transmission will be replaced, which is great to hear.
A hybrid powertrain is possible in the near future, as the manufacture of the smaller Pajero Sport model will continue. According to rumors, Pajero Sport will adopt a hybrid system from the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV. It is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor. This variant have a range of up to 30 miles on pure electric power alone.
2025 Pajero Could Get a Redesign
The forthcoming 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero could feature a redesigned exterior. This makes sense, but many reliable sources are saying that this is not going to happen after all. Everything about Pajero SUV is pure speculation at the moment. This model will receive at least some cosmetic enhancements and an increase in luxury. Certain details will remain, such as Pajero’s characteristic boxy appearance and tough design.
On the other hand, the aesthetic appears updated and unmistakably more current. We don’t know all of the details, but Pajero will almost certainly borrow a few styling cues from the current Outlander SUV. Finally, the manufacturer will include entirely new hood protection, rubber cargo liner, and additional chrome accents.
Interior Refreshments
The interior of the 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero will also receive some sort of a mid-cycle refresh. Again, Pajero could retire in the coming years, so Mitsubishi could decide to deliver no changes. Rather than that, Mitsubishi will add new and attractive touches to the cabin, but the majority of the interior will remain. Pajero, for example, now includes new carpet floor mats and a leather-wrapped service, and an owner’s manual.

Exceed trim level adds new leather upholstery, brushed aluminum pedals, and a panoramic sunroof. This is what we currently know. Pajero, on the other hand, may receive additional standard features and new safety aids. The manufacturer will provide additional information in the following months.
2025 Mitsubishi Pajero Release Date, Price
The price is not available yet, but the 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero will most likely cost roughly $33,000. As previously stated, 800 units will be sold in Australia, and Pajero will hopefully expand into further areas.
Sales will commence in late 2022. Pajero is a legendary 4×4 SUV that has been in production for 40 years. Pajero Sport could become the only Pajero model offered. It’s a scaled-down version of the Triton/L200 pickup truck.
